We’re Jared and Mary: we like strong coffee, mountains, down blankets, crunchy leaves, hammocks, gardens, books, sunshine, windows, cherry coke, and campfires. And each other. And Jesus.
Meet Kobuk, our puppy grub! His name was inspired by Kobuk Valley National Park in Alaska, and is pronounced “co-buck”.
We’re learning how to find joy in the journey. We’re learning to appreciate each day for what it is.

I came across your blog while searching for beard oils. I love the outdoors and down to earth people. Due to my occupation as a farrier I get to spend most of my day outside or seeing the countryside while driving to the next job. So glad that you share the interest in the outdoorsy life and most important of all: Jesus. Thanks for the story of your journey. God bless. John
