on the river {lately}

lately, we’ve been trying to spend as many afternoons on the river as we can.  snowshoes + flyrods = a good way to spend a chilly afternoon.

today, we saw mallards, identified some barrow’s goldeneye (with our schmancy new book), and two bald eagles.

fresh air is the best!
