it was bound to happen

I mean, it was sort of inevitable. I’ve been putting my phone in the kitchen window for three months now, to receive enough service to send/receive texts and even listen to the occasional voicemail.  And like any brilliant dish washing situation, the sink is right in front of the window.  Ain’t nobody that wants to stare at a wall while washin’ the dirties.

So I dropped my phone in water in the sink today.

And, well, it just may be the end of the line for this phone.  It’s buttons were falling off anyway.  Just wanted you to know so you didn’t worry (I’m looking at you, Mom).

ps: before it’s even said, I’ve selected a new window for the new phone to rest in, far from the kitchen sink.  as far as the living room, that is.
