I’m learning that it’s okay.

It’s okay to be afraid of something big.

It’s okay to need help, to need someone to stand with you.

It’s okay to take a moment.  To not have yourself completely pulled together.

It’s okay to realize it’s scary.

But it’s even more important to look it full in the face.  To remember that we’re not actually called to fear.  Not a bit.

Besides, you can really only get away with the nervous-panting-running-away-barking-approach if you’re a dog.
