Southern Illinois has been treating us to fantastic weather in the last few weeks. It’s been in the mid 70’s to 80’s during the day but still dips into the 50’s at night (*perfect* weather for being outside and sleeping). Pretty soon, the south will unleash 98% humidity and 90+ days, rampant mosquitos, ticks, and a sweat-a-thon. So I’m enjoying it while it lasts.
This has meant lots of time on the back patio (I mean, hey, if you have to do work you may as well do it outside). Grub loves it…
…when he’s not tangled up. There’s an overgrown tree line separating our yard from the neighbors and we put him on a 30 foot leash and let him play and chew on things to his hearts content.
This is his *Mary-please-rescue-me-I’m-stuck* face.
He totally knows how to work the system.
Grub’s paws are quite gigantasourus (they’re the same size or a bit bigger than Lucy’s). Homeslice has lost all his front baby teeth and a lot of molars too.
He wanted me to tell you two things:
1) I have a stick!
2) Let’s be friends!
Happy Tuesday, folks!
